Angie Reese

I hope that Pretty & Wise is a tool that God uses to reach hundreds of women and connect them in love and faith. Thank you for joining me and the other women here on this journey. We all have something to contribute and this adventure of growing together will lead us to be better sisters, women, and followers of Christ.

Angie has a way of making you feel like you are cozied up at her kitchen table with a cup of coffee and having a good, long chat with her, your best friend, every time you read her writing or listen to her speak at a conference or retreat. Her ability to put you at ease while sharing practical spiritual truths is just unreal and God uses that to help His truth sink straight down into your heart, bringing about real life transformation. She has been writing and speaking with The Pretty & Wise Collective since early 2020 and is a vital voice of reason and faith on this team.

A Little About Me...

Angie Reese is a mother of three girls. She has been married to Robbie for over 20 years and currently lives in Powhatan, Virginia. She has played many different roles in life outside of mother and wife. Among those, she has been a DJ and program director for a radio station, worked in the hotel business, been a receptionist for a doctor’s office, and taught children of various ages.

While teaching is a passion of hers, she enjoys traveling with her family each year to Brazil for mission work with Wordless Ministries. This adventure began in 2014 with a trip to the Amazon with her husband and then 12-year-old daughter, Kai. They fell in love with the country and the need that God put on their heart. Her family has been back each summer while out of school.

All of these different experiences have helped Angie grow her faith through the years. While she doesn’t consider herself an expert on much of anything, she loves to share what God has done in her life with others in hopes that it will help them in some way. She believes that sharing what you go through with others can strengthen faith, form bonds of friendship, and guide others through difficult times. We are not meant to do life alone, and forming a strong sisterhood is something that Angie feels passionate about. She grew up in a family of four girls and knows the value that having sisters has in life.
